Labs and HPC

DICenter has a High-Performance Computing infrastructure named DICLUB.

From a computation point of view, DICLUB consists of 33 computing nodes with a total of 2272 cores and 73 GPU cards: 20 cpu-only nodes provides 1872 cores, while 13 special nodes offer 400 cores and 73 GPU cards (40 Tesla K80, 3 Tesla V100 32GB, 4 Tesla V100 16GB, 8 GeForce 1080Ti, 16 Tesla A40, 3 Quadro RTX 8000). 

In terms of storage, DICLUB provides almost 156 TB of space organised in seven areas that differ for redundancy and speed. 

DICLUB resources are managed by the slurm job scheduler.

DICenter features also labs dedicated to:

• 3D metrology, 

• people tracking,

• integrated solutions for Internet of Things.
